Club Inauguration
The inauguration of THE Club (Tamil, Hindi, and English) for the academic session 2024 -2025 was held on Tuesday 2 July 2024. The ceremony started with invocation to Almighty God.
Clubs are giving a very good opportunity to exhibit the talents of the students.
The various clubs inaugurated were
- Tamil Club
- Hindi Club
- English Club
Classes VII and VIII attended the program.
The Principal presided over the function and Welcome speech and Chief Guest Introduction was given by Muskan of Grade IX C.
After the formal inauguration, there was a wonderful cultural programme presented by students in the form of dance, melodious singing, skit etc.
Highlights of the program
The English Department has taken up the task dressing up like a Famous poets. The department believes that the best way to comprehend and understand the intricacies of Verbs is by immersing oneself in the language through action words. By utilizing English as the fundamental means of instruction, students can grasp the concepts of tenses more effectively
The Tamil Department recognizes the profound connection between language and culture, and hence they have chosen to explain the usage of Tamil through the art form of dance. Tamil, being one of the oldest classical languages, has a rich heritage and is intimately associated with dance forms like Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi. The department believes that by exploring Tamil through dance, students can gain a deeper understanding of its nuances and expressiveness.
The Hindi Department has taken an innovative approach to explain the culture of people living in the northern regions of India. Recognizing that dance is an integral part of the North Indian culture, Dhoha (Kural) performed by the students was amazing, the department has decided to utilize this art form to illuminate the cultural aspects of the region.
Chief Guest Address:
Dr.S.Tharakeshwari appreciated the students for their discipline and explained about the Sanga Ilakyam through story. Mrs. P. KAVITHA ANAND said about that the Development of personality. Mr.J.Kumaravel.,M.A.,B.Ed., explained about learning and importance of English in our daily life.
Oath taking and Speech was given by Admiral and Vice Admiral. Sruthi of Grade IX A proposed the vote of thanks.
