Onam on the school’s premises amidst much fanfare involving staff and management
of the school. The celebrations started with setting up of an attractive floral decoration
(pookalam) in the program area, impressive designs and artistic creativity were the hallmarks
of the Pookalam, which turned out to be attractive and mesmerizing and took everyone into a
world of festivity and fun.
Teacher’s day celebrated on 5th September each year on the occasion of birth of Dr.
Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was known as an amazing teacher of his time.
The Chief Guest in his speech , explained the importance of teachers and how teachers are
the builders of nation. Teachers have always been so patient and advising, that is why we
should always be thankful to them for their precious time.
Sweeter than honey, tastier than curd, pleasanter indeed than any happiness and joy
is the company, is the power of the name of Krishna. The birthday of Lord Krishna is
celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm, on this Janmashtami day. This holy occasion
brings people together, thus signifying unity and faith.
The Chief Guest inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp along with all the
dignitaries.Welcome Speech and Introduction of the Chief Guest was given by our faculty
Department of English.
Welcome dance was performed by C.S.Manikanniga and M.B.Prathishitha of VIII std.
Tamil kavithai by U.Pradhiksha of IX and English speech was given by A.R.Kaviya of Grade
IX.Tamil speech was performed by S.Yagan of Grade IV. Gopiyar Nadanam was
performed by Grade I and II students. Mohiniattam by K.Lakshana of VIII and S.Saveetha of
IX std.
The function ended with a Vote of thanks rendered by our faculty from
Social Science department
