The Investiture Ceremony was held on 28 July 2023 at V.V.N.K.M.Sr.Sec.
School to encourage and kindle leadership qualities in our young prodigies.The
Student Council for the session 2023-24 was formed. Students were chosen for the
School Posts and House Posts.
The Investiture Ceremony 2023-24 successfully inducted the newly elected and
selected members of the school. The ceremony started by lighting the lamp which
signifies the removal of darkness and continuous upward movement of the flame
denotes a path of wisdom and divinity.
Newly formed Council – Head Boy and Head Girl along with Sports
secretaries, House Captains, Vice House Captains and Prefects were honoured by
our respected principal, Mrs.R.G.Sujatha along with the Chief Guest, Mrs.B.Susila ,
a retired DSP. Principal Ma’am announced the names of the appointees who would
take into their hands the reigns of responsibility. Principal Ma’am administered the
oath of allegiance to the newly appointed Board of Students’ Council, who swore to
serve their with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities.
The Chief Guest , motivated the students and blessed them with her golden views
which would help the students to make their vision clear for the achievement of
their goal by performing their duties with full dedication. She then congratulated the
newly elected Students’ Council and emphasised the significance of setting
priorities and the need of the hour to be a team player. She reminded them that
they are the torch bearers of all the values that the School stands for and urged
them to take responsibility with commitment and integrity. The proud parents’
happiness knew no bounds when badges and sashes were conferred on the newly
elected Students’ Council.
The zeal of the council was reflected in their confidence and dedication to execute
their work. The ceremony concluded with the classical dance on the song
presented by the students, which spell bound the audience and enhanced the
vibrance of the event. The school without doubt believes in its young leaders to
protect and consolidate the values and ideals its teachers and students stand for.
We express our gratitude to our revered Principal, Mrs.R.G.Sujatha Ma’am for her
sheer perseverance to help students comprehend the rich legacy of our nation and
for her constant encouragement to attain excellence in all arenas of education.
