Scout & Guide
The Bharat scout & guides is a voluntary, Non- political, educational movement for young people, open to all without distinction of origin, race or creed, in accordance with the purpose, Principles and methods conceived by the founder in 1907.
Scout & Guides have a four – fold aim which includes character formation, good health habits development and development of true spirit among students to make them good citizens.
VVNKM School enrolls students under cubs, bulbuls, scout & guide. Our staff are exclusively trained under these 4 categories. Every week, the students were given training by the staff. And also, students were prepared to appear for Rajyapurashkar award exam every year and are successfully qualified.
National Cadet Corps (NCC)
The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose. Needless to say, the NCC also provides an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces.
The National Cadet Corps in our school is enrolling 25 cadets every year under Tamilnadu 10 Battalion. NCC Cadets are given regular training by the NCC personnel during the parade held every week. It instils sense of patriotic commitment & encourage cadets to contribute to national development.
Moreover, NCC cadets were made to attend the camp every year.
