CURRICULUM
Curriculum is the outline of concepts to be taught to students to help them meet the content standards. Curriculum is what is taught in a given course or subject. Curriculum refers to an interactive system of instruction and learning with specific goals, contents, strategies, measurement, and resources.
PRIMARY (Classes KID to V)
The Curriculum is based on team work where the teachers are the facilitators for group discussions, projects as well as hands-on activities and experimentation. The Science and Mathematics labs cater to the development of a scientific temper. Emphasis is laid on ‘learning by doing’ rather than on rote-learning. Project based learning, excursions and student exchange programmes, aid better understanding of the subjects.
The Primary section comprises of classes from Grade KID to Grade V. The minimum age for entry into Class I is 6 years as on 1st April of the year the child is seeking admission. The school timing for the Primary is from 8:40 am to 3:30 pm. The school follows a 5-day week schedule.
In addition to their normal classroom studies, they are provided with various opportunities for the careful development of their mental, physical and artistic talents
NO HOMEWORK POLICY
As per the CBSE board policy, we follow NO HOMEWORK POLICY for the classes LKG, UKG, I & II Std. Our school and our teachers follow this rule and the child’s learning process is completed during the school hours.
SECONDARY & SENIOR SECONDARY
The books and curriculum followed are as per CBSE\NCERT norms.
The secondary section comprises of classes from Grade VI to Grade X. The school timing for the secondary is from 8:40 am to 3:30 pm. The school follows a 5-day week schedule.
Digital smart boards are provided in all the classrooms to help students to have visual learning and also to meet their educational goals.
EVALUATION & ASSESSMENT
Promotion is granted on the basis of the continuous assessment of the student which is a holistic approach to a student’s development. Regular tests, exams, projects, activities were given to the students for the assessment.
