Club Inauguration 

The inauguration of SMS Club(Science, Maths and Social Science) for the academic session 2024 -2025 was held on Monday 01 July 2024. The ceremony started with invocation to Almighty God.

Clubs are giving a very good opportunity to exhibit the talents of the students.

The various clubs inaugurated were

• Science Club
• Maths Club
• Social Science Club

Classes VIII and IX attended the program.

The Principal presided over the function and Welcome speech was given by Afeefa Abida of Grade IX and Chief Guest Introduction was given by Ishanth of Grade XI

After the formal inauguration, the atmosphere became even more vibrant and lively as the students took the stage to showcase their talents in a wonderful cultural program mesmerizing dance, melodious singing and the skit followed by,was a delightful combination of humour and  thought provoking message.

Highlights

• Maths Club –      Supplementing the teaching of mathematics in the classroom and to widen the knowledge of the students, Maths Club

students  performed a role play as Ramanujan and Aryabhatta.    Mime based on Probability. Dance based on Angle and

Trignometry. Skit showing the importance of Mathematic concepts.

• Science Club –  Science club performed the Promising song based on importance of Nature. PCB (Physics ,Chemistry, Biology)

dance paid a tribute to Former President Of India, DR. P.J. Abdul Kalam.C² the Live experiments through

Science Wizardry showed the importance of Light and Colours.

• Social Science Club- Monoact based on National Symbols in India. Solar system based dance explained about the Solar System. Students

performed a Theme Dance based on Chola Kings and Mime based on Agriculture & Situation of
Farmers.

Chief Guest Address:

Dr. C.S.JACOB PRASANNA STEPHEN appreciated the students and shared about the benefits of Science. Mr.M.KUPPU RAMAMAN said about the importance of Mathematics in our daily life and its usage. Dr.S.MURUGAN,shared about Education and motivated the students.

Oath taking and Speech was given by Admiral and Vice Admiral. R.Rithika of Grade IX C proposed the vote of thanks.
