The Animal Day celebration at our school was truly remarkable. The prayer song performed by the KG students set the tone for the day and the welcome address by K. Linitha of UKG C added a warm touch to the event.
The highlight of the day was the lighting of the Kuthuvilaku by our esteemed chief guest, along with the Shikshalaya staff members. The chief guest was honored by the staff members of the Department of English and Department of Social Science for his valuable presence.
The performances by the students were a true reflection of their talent and dedication. The welcome dance by the UKG students was a mesmerizing display of grace and skill. The “Save Forest and Animals” dance by the kids was truly wonderful and showcased their understanding of the importance of nature and wildlife conservation.
The students of LKG dressed up as Parrot, Rabbit, Cat, Dog and Cow, while the UKG students donned costumes of Panda, Lion, Tiger, Elephant, and Deer. The dance performed by the UKG students was a feast for the eyes, and the fashion show by the kids added an element of excitement to the event.
The chief guest appreciated our school for organizing such a fantastic event and commended our initiative in promoting love and care for animals. The vibrant and lively costumes worn by our students further enhanced the overall charm of the day.
We are truly grateful to all the parents, teachers, and the management for their enthusiastic participation and support. It is our hope that events like Animal Day will foster empathy towards animals and instill a sense of responsibility towards all living beings.
