On Saturday, 24 th June VVNKM SR SEC SCHOOL celebrated its 112 th  Birth
Anniversary of Founders’ Day.  It was a time to reflect on the School’s past and
those that have helped to shape who we are, and to acknowledge the community
members, both past and present, who have influenced the character and values that
embody the vibrant, engaging, and safe environment we see today. It was an
opportunity to remember and to praise the memories of this wonderful school.
An atmosphere of celebration filled our school when the members of the
VVNKM along with the students, Parents and the entire staff gathered to celebrate
the Founder’s Day which marked the memorable day of the school
The programme began with lighting the Kuthuvilaku by the dignitaries. This
was followed by seeking of God’s blessings with a prayer song by the school choir.
Welcome Address and introduction of the Chiefguest by the Academic Head,
Department of Tamil.
The Chief Guest was felicitated by the Correspondent and the dignitaries on
the dias. Welcome dance was performed by S.Dhansika, VII B.Speech about vallal
in Tamil was given by Ashika of VI Standard.English Speech was given by the
Academic Head Department of English.
PRIDES of VVNKM from the academic year 2011 till 2022 – PPT showcasing
the students and their current position which was a motivation to the present
students.

The meritorious students of classes XII and X(2022-2023) were honoured
with cups and cash award. The students and the parents of the award winners were
also invited to witness the grand occasion.
A cash award of Rs 50,000/- was given to the students who secured I & II
place and Rs. 30,000/- to the student who secured III place in class XII.
A cash award of Rs. 10,000/- was awarded to the students who have secured
who have securedI, II and III place in class X.
The Chief Guest Dr.G.Ezhilan during his address, appreciated the toppers
and motivated them to scale new heights and also appreciated the hard work put in
by Principal, the teachers, the students and the parents. He also thanked the
management for their benevolence, direction and support.
The Chief Guest highlighted the importance of education and spoke about
various fields and career paths. He mentioned the immeasurable contributions by
our Founder, late Vellore Vallal N.Krishnaswamy mudaliar and Late
Sri.N.Thangavelu mudaliar whose vision and guidance led to the establishment of
this wonderful school. He spoke about the progress of the School over the years.

The Academic Head,department of Social Science proposed the vote of
thanks. The students of class IX to XII attended the program. The program
culminated with singing of the National anthem.
