ANNUAL REPORT – 2021 – 2022
The school had its opening in the virtual mode for the academic year 2021 – 2022 in the month of April in a phased manner. Being the year of pandemic, all the activities are done in a virtual mode.

STAY FIT: In this pandemic situation, Small videos of strength exercises, cardio exercises, agility exercises, coordination activities, yogasanas and Pranayama were prepared and sent to students.
ASSEMBLY: Morning assembly was conducted through online / Offline modes.
ONLINE & OFFLINE CLASSES: Online & offline classes were carried out with effective implementation of online tools related to the subjects. Interactive sessions were given to the students through Zoom / Google meet. Worksheets were given regularly to the students though google forms in the class whatsapp groups and shared the same every weekend through Parent app during offline sessions. Online sessions for extracurricular activities like Physical education, Arts & crafts and library were organized. Videos of the same were shared for further action.
HINDI PRACHAR SABHA EXAMS: Hindi classes are conducted for training the students for Dakshin Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha Exams after school hours through virtual mode.
EXAMINATIONS: Periodical assessments, tests and terminal examinations were conducted for the students through online & offline mode and their progress were informed to the parents frequently. Subject enrichment activities and Art Integrated projects were done by the students under the supervision of the teachers.
INAUGURATION OF CLUBS: Literary club, Maths club, Science club, Arts and Crafts club, Interact club, etc were formed to create a dedicated study and interest in students in particular areas where they have more interest.
FIT INDIA RECOGNITION:
FIT INDIA CLUB INAUGURATION: The Inaugural Ceremony of FIT India School was held on 24/4/21 to create awareness among the students on physical activities in day to day life.
FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN 2.0: 102 students of IX Grade participated actively. Our School has been congratulated and certified for organizing this great event.
FIT INDIA SCHOOL WEEK was organized in the school that instilled the understanding of the significance of regular physical activity and higher levels of fitness in the students. The school was certified for the same.
BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARD CLUBS:
Bureau of Indian Standards has initiated Standards Club for our students. Inaugural Function was held on 27.01.2022 through virtual mode. Mrs. Bavani, Regional Head had inaugurated the session. Students from IX Grade had participated with full spirit.
GREEN SCHOOL CERTIFICATION: Our School has been registered under Green School Program and received certificate from Green Institute. Our teachers had participated in the Online Webinars. Our Students took part in Green Audit 0.1 & 0.2 and took Pledge to keep our surroundings green and clean.
EAT RIGHT SCHOOL: Our school has been registered as EAT RIGHT INDIA School. Our students had participated in Eat Right Quiz and received the Appreciation Certificate. Our teachers have attended Eat Right based Webinars.
CENTRAL VIGILANCE COMMISSION CERTIFICATION: The Central Vigilance Commission acknowledges the commitment to uphold highest standard of integrity & good governance. Our School VVNKM Senior Secondary School, Vellore has contributed to the cause of eradicating corruption by taking up Integrity Pledge and received the Certificate of Commitment.
CELEBRATIONS:
MOTHER’S DAY: Organized drawing competition. The Complied Sketch of students creative art work has been shared as videos in parent app.
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY: Organized through VIRTUAL MODE on 22nd June 2021. Had conducted competitions like Yogasanana & Suryanamasakar.
FOUNDER’S DAY:- 110th Birth Anniversary of our Founder Sri. N. Krishnaswamy Mudaliar was celebrated on 25th June 2021.
INDEPENDENCE DAY:- 75th Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August 2021. VI to IX and XI Students were enrolled [Virtual mode] in the programs – Patriotic dance & role play [freedom fighters].
TEACHER’S DAY:- Students showed their respect to teachers through their performance [speech and poems].
ONAM: To instill in the students the cohesion and harmony, the school celebrated Onam.
SAPLING DAY:- VVNKM wants to make a better and greener future for the upcoming generations. Organised the program virtually.
FRONTLINE WARRIORS DAY was celebrated to honor and salute all the Frontline Workers and thank them
REMEMBRANCE DAY 7th Memorial Day of Smt. K. Dhanabakkiyam Ammal was celebrated on 1st May2022.
TRAFFIC AWARENESS PROGRAM was presided by Sub Inspector of Police Mr. G. Ravichandran
to create awareness on Road Safety.

CAREER GUIDANCE & BLESSING DAY:
We have conducted Career Guidance and Blessing Day for our XII Grade Students on 23.04.2022. Honorable Mayor of Vellore Mrs. Sujatha Ananda Kumar was the Chief Guest and presided over the function and blessed our students. Mr. Chandra Choodeshwaran, Freelance Trainer & Counsellor from Hosur had career guidance session.
EXTERNAL COMPETITIONS [ACADEMICS]:
Students were motivated to take part in the external competitions.
QUIZ COMPETITION held at Vedha Valli Vidyalaya
ENERGY MANAGEMENT QUIZ COMPETITION:
Google form which consist of the questions related to the Green School program. 50 students from classes VI to IX have participated and got certificates.
PHILATELY POST CARD CAMPAIGN:
As per CBSE circular postcard writing campaign held on 17/12/2021. Nearly 378 students took part in the campaign and Shortlisted 10 candidates with the best ideas of two topics altogether scanned and uploaded on CBSE portal and shared with Honorable P.M. Other specific post cards handed over to postal authorities.
CBSE EXPRESSION SERIES: Students of grade VI to VIII participated in the competition organized by CBSE. Best Three Entries from each competition is selected and uploaded in CBSE Expression Series App.
SAKSHAM NATIONAL COMPETITION-2021-2022 Students of class VII and VIII around 208 students have participated in Essay & Painting competition. Best two entries of each competition is selected.
CBSE READING MISSION Our students from classes III to VIII have enrolled in this reading program.
PARIKSHA PE CHARCHA 2021 Around 120 candidates participated on 01.04.2022. The Report of Pariksha Pe Charcha was also updated in AZAR App.
SANGHVI KANTILAL DOSHI ANNUAL CULTURAL FEST-PARAMPARA-2021
G.T GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS has conducted various events through online mode on 31st July and 1st August 2021. Our school students have participated.
“EXPRESSION-2021” – VEDAVALLI CBSE SCHOOL had conducted various competitions. Our students from classes VI to IX have participated and had won prize.
SILVER ZONE OLYMPIAD Our students have participated in the Olympiads and we are proud to declare that the enthusiasm among the students and the rankings is on the ascend-year after year. Many of our students have won Gold, Silver & Bronze medals.
SPELL- BEE exam was conducted on 28th January through online mode Students of I std to XII std were participated and Qualified for LEVEL2. “EXPRESSION SERIES” CBSE has launched “EXPRESSION SERIES” under various events like-Drawing/Essay writing/Poetry and all the reports was uploaded through CBSE EXPRESSIONS app.
ALL INDIA’S DRAWING, HANDWRITING AND ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION:
Around 270 students were participated and got prestigious awards like KALA RATNA AWARD [DRAWING], KALA SHRI AWARD [HANDWRITING], VIDYA BHUSHAN AWARD [ESSAY]
EXTERNAL COMPETITIONS [SPORTS]:
SILAMBAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
“World Silambam Championship 2021” has conducted National level Silambam group Competition. Our students had participated and won Medals
SILAMBAM WORLD RECORD: It is very pride to VVNKM that 7 of our students have participated in the competition and placed in GLOBAL WORLD RECORD.
NATIONAL SPORTS DAY COMPETITION AUG-2021:
Conducted various competitions on National sports day through virtual mode. Children have participated and the winners were announced.
IN-HOUSE COMPETITIONS THROUGH VIRTUAL MODE:
To enhance the skills of students, we have conducted various activities to inculcate the scientific skill, Creativity, Environmental awareness, Current inventions etc. Hard work and determination have made the dreams of our students materialize in the Inter School Competitions which was conducted month wise. The students were encouraged by awarding E certificates.
FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM:
To update the knowledge and to empower the teaching techniques, teachers were made to participate in all the mandatory workshops by CBSE as well as from other publications in an online mode.
COVID VACCINATION CAMP:
Covid Vaccination Camp was conducted in collaboration with Rotary Club of Vellore Accord on 27.3.2021 for the common people. And for the students on 08/01/2022 & 24/03/2022.
EYE SCREENING CAMP:
An Eye Screening camp was conducted in collaboration with Rotary Club of Vellore Accord and Agarwal Eye Hospital on 12.10.21 for classes X and XII.
PARENTS TEACHER MEETING:
Parent teacher meeting is recognized as a key measure of parental involvement to increase the academic success and character development of their words. Frequent meetings were organized in online/offline modes to improve the teaching –learning process.
REPORT ON KIDS ZONE:
MORNING ASSEMBLY [VIRTUAL MODE] Every month 1st and 3rd week Assembly activities were conducted through online in which children had participated.
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION Birthday videos with personalized messages by teachers had been shared in whatsapp group.
ACADEMICS:
ONLINE CLASS For LKG, videos had been shared weekly thrice. Online interaction class was started weekly once. For UKG, online classes were started thrice in a week with two sessions [MONDAY, WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY]. EPL activities were carried out through online mode.
CELEBRATIONS AND FESTIVALS:
Festivals and celebrations are an important part of many cultures around the world.
Sapling day, Janmashtami, Saraswathi Pooja, Vijayadasami, Frontline warriors’ day & Christmas were celebrated through virtual mode.
